I just got it and have used it a couple times with no issues. I like it, but that wrapping doesn't come off easily and it's still in the crease below the panel where the clock is. I can't get i t out, and I don't want to be sticking a tool in there and scratch up my new stove. Can someone tell me how to get this stuff out of my stove?

30' gas range with quick boil

I love my new stove. My old stove was 27 years old. It will take some getting use to. I love the fact the burners are large and each burner has a different function for cooking. I used the boil burner and it is awesome. "Quick" I am not good about change but it was worth it. I baked brownies and they came out perfect. No guessing if they were going to burn.

Back to a gas stove

For over 30 years we had an electric stove with ceramic sealed burners. They took forever to heat up and forever to cool down. I just love having a gas stove back in the kitchen. This Frigidaire is really beautiful. I just wish the power cord was a lot longer than it was. It wouldn't hurt to give some extra length to allow for every situation. I had an old style big outlet low on the wall behind the stove, but this stove came with a basic grounded plug that was about 2 feet short of my power outlet nearest power for 3 prong. I had to use an extension cord. Also the directions for setting the timer weren't clear and I finally just tried different things until I found how it worked.

This range is exactly what I wanted. Having an 18,000 and a 14000 btu burner makes cooking so much quicker. The grates are easy to shift pots and pans on, and cleanup is a breeze. Having the broiler in the oven provides a much larger cooking space, and the drawer helps store the oversized skillets and lids that don™€™t fit well in the cabinet. The steam-clean feature is SUPER helpful for people like me that do most of our cooking on the stove top, and tend to make a mess when we actually try to use the oven. It is so much better than harsh oven cleaners. Very happy with this range!!

Upgraded stove

Our previous Frigidaire stove finally had the radish (about 20 years old) so after much research, we landed on this one. We have been pretty happy with it. It is nice to have extra space in the oven and the continuous grates have been a nice feature. My husband was able to easily convert it to LP gas. The oven heats quickly, and the large burners allow for water to boil much faster than our previous stove. I was excited to have a 5 burner but it has not lived up to my expectations. Our griddle is the full depth of the stove and the burner itself is only about half the depth of the stove, so the griddle does not heat fully. The overall quality and feel of the stove is pretty decent, with the exception of the lower drawer. It feels pretty chintzy and much less sturdy than our previous Frigidaire. Overall though, happy with our purchase.

Clock Display Issue

I purchased this range because of oval burner and storage drawer. I am very happy with looks and operation of range with one glaring exception. After oven is preheated, temperature continues to be displayed rather than reverting to clock. I had to purchase small clock in order to track start time of baking. Timer is not practical if it shuts off oven when I only need to turn food, brush sauce, etc.
