Good mixer, but it's LOUD

I like this stand mixer. I love that you can add attachments and make pasta or sausage or juice, etc. I wish it were not so loud! It's not as loud as my generic small one I had, but still obnoxiously loud. Especially since I have issues with sound. But, it works great other than the noise.

I love love love my GE Stand Mixer. It has made my holiday baking this year ( since I couldn't do it last yea) so much easier. I wish I would have had one all of the past years that I created treats. I am actively searching for things to mix. It is that much fun. It looks great on my counter too. Very stylish. It is rare that a small kitchen appliance looks great , is a blast to use and makes life so much easier. I love it!!

Good Workhorse Mixer

As home baker and I've owned the high priced stand mixers out there and everything in between I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the GE Stand Mixer. The mixer performed exceptionally when I used it to make buttercreams, bread dough, and stiff peak egg whites. The mixer had the power to handle the long run times that those items require. If you've never owned a stand mixer there is no greater joy being able to mix ingredients without having to stand there to run the mixer. I wholeheartedly recommend getting this mixer.

This mixer does it all! I am LOVING it. It has so many great features. A powerful motor that handles my toughest dough, 7 speed settings to really fine tune your perfect mix, a tilt head that makes it SO easy to add ingredients and loads of attachments! I have made everything from bread dough to cookies to salad dressings. I have even shredded chicken with it. AND, it looks so sleek and modern in my kitchen. Highly recommend!

Awesome stand mixer

Not gonna lie. It's a stand mixer. It works just as advertised (if not better in some cases). I went after this one because it was cheaper than the "other" guys. So far it's done everything I've needed it to do very well. I've never owned or used one of the "other" ones, so I could be wrong on this...but I think this one has more speed options available. I like the color and the fact that it has a relatively small profile, so it doesn't take up too much space on my counter. Build quality is solid as well. Definitely does NOT feel cheap. So far, I'm loving it. Now I wait to see if GE is gonna start rolling out a plethora of attachments and such for it.

First off, just looking at this mixer you know it is heavy duty. It is very well made too. It is easy to use, the head is easy to lift out of the way when combining ingredients. Even though it is easy to use, it doesn't come with instructions which I would have liked. But it does come with a bowl that has a handle, flat beater, dough hook, and a wire whisk. This mixer works great making cookies and other batters.

Expanded my horizons.

I will admit that I was intimidated at first when I got this. I'm not the most savvy in the kitchen but I also understand that when you make things yourself they are not only healthier but you know what's going in them. I love to bake but I found myself using mixes. After getting this GE Stand Mixer and reading some how-to's and watching videos on the net for ideas I can officially say I was foolish for using mixes and not actually learning to do things myself. This machine has been such a blessing for me I just love it.

This stand alone mixer is comparable to the kitchen aide mixer. Most features are the same but the power is a circle dial on the bottom corner of the mixer. It comes with the mixing bowl with a handle, cover for the mixing bowl, and 3 different mixers. Mixer did a great job in mixing up brownies and mashing potatoes. Would recommend.

This GE stand mixer works great, and I didn't even know GE made nice stand mixers like this one! It's super heavy and sturdy, so easy to use and works great! I love the color and how nice it looks in my kitchen, it's definitely a functional decorative piece that looks so good in any kitchen! I've used other name brand stand mixers and this one is pretty comparable to the most popular brand. GE is a trusted brand and I always have good luck with all of their appliances so I'm happy to see they have these stand mixers now. It came with three attachments and a splash shield with the stainless steel bowl too. Super happy with my new mixer, I love it!!

Overall great mixer

I recently had the opportunity to try out the GE brand stand mixer and overall, I think it's an awesome product. The base portion of the mixer is very rugged feeling with a good solid weight. Two out of the 3 attachments seem pretty durable. The dough hook and paddle attachments look and feel to be solid metal and I'm sure will last for a very long time. The whisk attachment is my only concern being that it is plastic at the end that attaches to the mixer and seems somewhat flimsy. I'm hoping this small inconsistency is changed before I have the need to purchase a replacement so that when I need one, maybe it too will be a solid metal part with a metal cap for attaching. I am greatly looking forward to seeing what other attachments will be available to purchase for this unit to extend it's usefulness.

Mixer seems a little sluggish on the stir setting which may be geared that way on purpose. The wire whisk has a plastic head on it, the dough hook and the flat paddle beater are all metal silver coated. 320 watt max motor, made in the USA in Louisville Kentucky. I made two pie crusts that turned out wonderful,buttery and flaky . I also made some chocolate chip cookies , 4 dozen which the mixer handled well. It didn't wobble at all. The pour shield is a nice to have when mixing ingredients together. I love the blue color. All in all it does a good job. The auto locking head is a nice feature.

I unboxed my GE Stander Mixer and right off I liked the retro style and the Grayish-Blue color. It was a very heavy and sturdy unit and very easy to figure out. Probably a good thing because it didn't have a manual inside the box. The only thing that I would have too say on the con side would be it was loud when it was running.

Mixing made simple

- [ ] t is no secret I love to bake and in order to accomplish that I need to have the right tools. This GE stand mixer meets my expectations and is aesthetically pleasing with its bluish/black color I choose. Seven speeds, lifting head, pouring shield, dough hook, wire whisk, flat paddle and stainless steel bowl come with this package. It also has the option for using attachments. I loved that the whisk practically reaches the bottom of the bowl to mix properly, especially for smaller batches. I am sure I will be using it for years to come.
